Shangela, Eureka, & Bob Sashay onto HBO with New Makeover Series
Move over Queer Eye, there are some new queens in town!
A few of our favorite RuPaul's Drag Race queens are sashaying over to HBO!
Shangela, Bob the Drag Queen, and Eureka O’Hara are the stars of We're Here, a six-part unscripted series where the queens saunter into small towns and teach their "drag daughters to step outside their comfort zone for a night of no-holds-barred, full-on drag," Deadline reports.
"Drag is about confidence and self-expression," says Nina Rosenstein, EVP of HBO's programming. "We are so thrilled to showcase the transformative power of the art form with our audience."
Shangela celebrated the announcement on Instagram, saying the series is "empowering local communities with the magic of drag! It’s emotional. Theatrical. Oh, it’s gonna be a SHOW!"
We're Here debuts next spring on HBO!
