Schitt’s Creek has snowballed into popularity over the last few years, becoming the little gay Canadian show that could. And now, as the final season draws near, the show is gearing up with promotional billboards — including one featuring a big ole gay kiss between David and Patrick.

Dan Levy, who created the show and stars as David, shared an image of the promotion, found by @jacklovestv in Los Angeles.

“F*ck yes we did,” Levy wrote. “Shine bright, friends. Very grateful for @poptv and @cbc and their support on this campaign that my teenage self would never have dreamed to be true.”

While Los Angeles is generally a gay-friendly city, and has more than its fair share of billboards reminding the LGBTQ community to use condoms and get tested for STDs, along with the occasional steamy promotional campaign alluding to forbidden same-sex love, promotional billboards depicting a loving gay couple in an open display of affection that aren’t sexualized in any way are not exactly common.

And this one looms large, taking up the entire side of a building at an address the official Schitt’s Creek Twitter gives as 7677 Sunset Boulevard (“if you want to grab a selfie”). It's unclear as of yet if there are similar billboards in other cities.

The trailer for the final season of the show dropped last week, promising an emotional and hilarious send off to the bizarre little show that’s become a permanent favorite for so many fans around the world.

The season premiere hits CBC in Canada and Pop TV in the states on January 7th.
