Special, a show following a gay man living with cerebral palsy, is the latest inclusive series headed to Netflix.

Executive produced by Big Bang Theory star Jim Parsons and his company That’s Wonderful Productions, the show is loosely based on Ryan O'Connell's autobiography, I’m Special: And Other Lies We Tell Ourselves.

Deadline reports O'Connell will star in the series "as a gay man with mild cerebral palsy who decides to rewrite his identity as an accident victim and finally go after the life he wants." Jessica Hecht, Punam Patel, Marla Mindelle, Augustus Prew and Patrick Fabian also star.

Not much else is known about the series, but we can't wait to watch! Special premieres April 12 on Netflix!
