Riverdale is doing another musical episode, and this time, The CW's teen drama is paying tribute to another high school cult classic: Heathers.
"Last year, we had a blast doing Carrie," said executive producer Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa. "This year, we wanted to honor another iconic teen movie. Heathers: The Musical is BIG FUN, with great roles for the Riverdale kids."
In some new clips that were released ahead of Wednesday's new episode, Cheryl Blossom leads the clique as Heather Chandler, Veronica is Heather McNamara, and Betty is Heather Duke. The rest of the cast finds out their roles and we get just a smidge of a song.

As HBO continues to expand its Game of Thrones franchise, we're keeping track of every LGBTQ+ character who has appeared on-screen in Game of Thrones, House of the Dragon, and future series as they're released. A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms may not have brought any queer characters to the screen yet — but we'll be ready whenever the next one joins the epic saga.
