Although we've been loving Will & Grace's epic return to TV since 2017, like all good things, nothing lasts forever, and now it's time to say goodbye to the classic gay sitcom (again).

According to a recent tweet by one of the show's star Sean Hayes, the series' upcoming eleventh season will be its last.

"For all Will & Grace fans, I am sharing the news that this is going to be our last and final season (which premieres this winter)," Sean wrote on Twitter, breaking the news to fans. "To everyone who watched the first run and to everyone that encouraged this reboot, we did it all for you."

The show originally ran from 1998 to 2006 and was notable for being one of the first successful network shows to feature a gay main character. After an 11-year hiatus, Will & Grace was revived and returned to TV in 2017 and captured a new generation of queer comedy fans.

While we're sad to see it all end soon, we're glad the show got a new life and we're 1000 percent sure its impact and legacy will last for many more years to come!

The 11th and final season of Will & Grace will consist of 18 episodes and will debut in 2020 on NBC.
