Rejoice!
After being canceled on Netflix, beloved Latinx and LGBTQ+ inclusive sitcom One Day at a Time is returning to television on Tuesday, March 24th, 2020!
Season 4 will air at 9:30pm ET/PT, following another queer comedy, Schitt's Creek, which is on its final season. Once that show ends, ODAAT will move to 9pm starting April 14. And since the series is restricted to the 21-minute television format, Gloria Estefan's theme song will, unfortunately, be replaced with just a title card.
Filming begins next week in Los Angeles.
