You know what they say, you are no one until you're talked about, and we're already talking about HBO's upcoming reboot of iconic teen series Gossip Girl.
Picked up by streaming service HBO Max, the first season will be 10 episodes and is officially in production, as photos of the cast on set have begun surfacing online.
From the photos, it's clear that the series won't be focusing on the original cast though it seems Kristen Bell is returning as the narrator. Emily Alyn Lind, Whitney Peak, Jordan Alexander, Eli Brown, Thomas Doherty, and Adam Chanler-Berat will star in the reboot.
From Deadline's report earlier this year, HBO's version will begin "eight years after the original website went dark, a new generation of New York private school teens are introduced to the social surveillance of Gossip Girl. The prestige series will address just how much social media — and the landscape of New York itself — has changed in the intervening years."
We'll hopefully get a taste of HBO Max's Gossip Girl in 2021!
