What can we expect from a Netflix series that's literally called 'Hollywood'?
Well, we can probably expect a whole bunch of drama, a whole bunch of glamor and luxury, and of course, a whole bunch of beautiful people. Starring our Glee and American Crime Story heartthrob Darren Criss, as well as The Politicianstar David Corenswet, theater actor Jeremy Pope, and Horse Girl's Jake Picking, the upcoming limited series from TV legends Ryan Murphy and Ian Brennan "follows a group of aspiring actors and filmmakers in post-World War II Hollywood as they try to make it in Tinseltown — no matter the cost."
"Each character offers a unique glimpse behind the gilded curtain of Hollywood's Golden Age, spotlighting the unfair systems and biases across race, gender, and sexuality that continue to this day," the show's description reads. "Provocative and incisive, Hollywood exposes and examines decades-old power dynamics, and what the entertainment landscape might look like if they had been dismantled."
