The wait for the second season of Ryan Murphy's Ben Platt & Gwyneth Paltrow-led Netflix series The Politician is almost over, but for those of us who can't wait for Friday to see what Payton is getting into as a student at NYU running for New York State Senate seat, then we've got something to tide us over: the full trailer for season 2!

"Gloves off, claws out. Get ready for the spiciest and most iconic election battle in NYC history!" the official description of the trailer, where we see all sorts of drama and hilarity—like throuples, "sex pentagrams," spicy lube, and Ben Platt's Payton going head-to-head against screen icons Bette Midler and Judith Light—ensue.

From the looks of the three-minute trailer, the second round of The Politician already looks like a wild (and messy!) AF ride that we can't wait to finally take!

The second season of The Politicianpremieres Friday, June 19 on Netflix!
