It looks like the Drag Race fandom's hope and dreams for worldwide domination and fabulosity is one-step closer to becoming a reality, because the long-running drag reality competition is getting yet another international franchise!
Following last Friday's epic conclusion to All Stars 5, Mama Ru herself took to the official World of Wonder Twitter account to announce that the Netherlands is the next country that will be getting its very own Drag Race series!
"Hello HolIand, it's RuPaul, and I am proud to announce that my beloved Drag Race is coming to you," Ru said in the video announcement for Drag Race Holland. "And with a brand new host!"
Though details are still scarce (we don't even know who will be hosting the surely legendary Dutch edition of Drag Race or when it will even premiere), World of Wonder did RuVeal that U.S. fans will definitely be able to stream all the shenanigans alongside our Netherlands sisters on their streaming service, WOW Presents Plus, so we won't be missing out!
In the past few years, Drag Race has had quite the international expansion. Drag Race Thailand first premiered back in 2018 and already has two successful seasons under its belt. Drag Race UK made waves across the pond for all of its hilarious antics on BBC Three, and Canada's Drag Race is currently airing its very first season with season 11 finalist Brook Lynn Hytes as a judge.
Drag taking over the world??? We love to see it!
