If you're anything like us, then you've been patiently waiting for some kind of follow-up ever since the first eight episodes of the first season of RuPaul's Drag Race UK aired. With the current ongoing global health crisis putting literally all of our favorite TV and movie productions on hold, Drag Race UK season 2 was also put on the backburner for an unannounced later time...

But thanks to queen Michelle Visage, we got some much-needed confirmation that the European version of our fave drag reality competition series would be returning for a second round. 

"I want people to know, rest assured, there will be your Season 2 of Drag Race UK," the longtime Drag Race franchise judge told host Lorraine Kelly during a recent virtual appearance on Good Morning Britain. "We’ve got everything ready, we’re just waiting for this ban to lift. Try to stop me."

And Michelle isn't the only person spilling some Drag Race UK tea! Season 1 judge Alan Carr will also be returning, and in a recent interview with the Radio Times, the comedian said he is set to film and is super excited for it.

"I’m filming but I don’t know who I’m on with, it’s so secretive," he dished. "They’ve already filmed the first one. I can’t wait. I’m going to be like that kid in that Alton Towers advert saying, 'One more sleep!'"

So it may be a while until we see the UK version of Drag Race back on our screens, but when we do eventually get season 2, it will definitely have been worth the wait! 

Maybe Andrew Garfield can come back and get on all fours again like he did last time???? (A girl can dream!)
