The 'SNL' Guys Scream-Cry Along to 'Driver's License' Just Like We Do

Same, guys. Same.
Our favorite Bridgerton duke, Regé-Jean Page, guest-starred on this past weekend's episode of Saturday Night Live, accompanied by musical guest Bad Bunny, and one of the sketches is a hilarious tribute to the biggest song in the world right now.Â
Page plays a pool hustler ready to take all of his friend's money, but to set the mood, he goes to the jukebox plays his favorite track. The song? "Driver's License" by Olivia Rodrigo, the surprise smash hit that people are screaming along to around the world. It's currently sitting at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100, where it's been for the past five weeks.Â
Written by the just-turned-18-year-old Disney Channel star, "Driver's License" has taken the world by storm, including these rowdy pool-playing bar patrons.
The guys try to be tough at first and pretend like they don't know the song, but as the verses build into the explosive, belty chorus, the facade melts and they can't help but sing along "GUESS YOU DIDN'T MEAN WHAT YOU WROTE IN THAT SONG ABOUT ME."
"I got my driver's license 55 years ago," asks Kate McKinnon in old man drag. "Why is this hitting me so hard?"
Same, old-man-Kate. Same.Â
The scene quickly devolves into a heated debate over Taylor Swift lore and Billie Eilish comparisons, but all of the guys come together to sing the "bridge of our lives."Â
Rodrigo thinks the sketch is as hilarious as we do!
