Gossip Girl is back, and gayer than ever before!

The first trailer dropped late last night and sent the internet into a frenzy. Set to Frank Ocean's apt song "Super Rich Kids," we meet a new set of kids at an elite New York City high school with their own set of drama, secrets, and scandals befit for 2021.

"Nine years ago, the original Gossip Girl website shut down," the official description reads. "But after a new generation of New York’s young elite takes control of private school Constance Billard, the notorious blogger remerges as the number one source into their scandalous lives."

It seems they've certainly fixed some of the diversity issues from the original, featuring several characters of color as well as some LGBTQ+ folks. You can even spot a few queer kisses in the trailer, including some kind of throuple situation?

*cue gay screams*

Kristen Bell returns as the iconic voice of Gossip Girl who's exposing the girls on Instagram this time around. Jordan Alexander, Eli Brown, Tavi Gevinson, Emily Alyn Lind, Zion Moreno, Whitney Peak, and Savannah Lee Smith star in the reboot.

Anyone else shaking in anticipation? xoxo

Gossip Girl premieres July 8 on HBO Max. Watch the trailer below:
