Disney+ is pulling out all the stops for their upcoming Proud Family reboot!

Earlier today, the streaming service announced that Lizzo, Lil Nas X, Normani, Gabrielle Union, Lena Waithe, Chance the Rapper, Tiffany Haddish, Marsai Martin, Jaden Smith, Al Roker, Bretman Rock, Brenda Song, Tina Knowles, Eva Longoria, Jane Lynch, Anthony Anderson, Gabby Douglas, Leslie Odom Jr., and many more will join the cast as guest stars. "Welcome to the family," they tweeted.

Talk about a star-studded cast!

Disney+ announced the new cast additions alongside a featurette where Kyla Pratt and a few more of the original stars share what the show meant to them when it premiered in 2001. Keke Palmer, Lena Waithe, Gabby Douglas, and Normani also chat about their own relationships with the show.

Disney announced last year that Zachary Quinto and Billy Porter will play the gay parents of their teenage activist daughter, Maya Leibowitz-Jenkins, played by Palmer. That, alongside all the LGBTQ+ actors on the show, is making us even more excited for the reboot!

The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder will premiere in 2022. The original series is currently available on Disney+.
