RuPaul’s Drag Race season 10 and 11 fan-favorite Vanessa Vanjie Mateo recently hosted a new dating competition on WOW Presents Plus called Vanjie: 24 Hours of Love. The entire series took place over the course of 24 hours. In the end, Jack Janowicz was chosen as the winner.

The question is, did the love last? Or was it just a showmance?

It turns out that Miss Vanjie and Janowicz are still together, and sharing their love all over social media. This week, Miss Vanjie shared an adorable picture with Janowicz and wrote in the caption:

“Get yourself a man that will carry you around New York on his back and look good doing it.”

Janowicz has also been sharing pictures and videos alongside out-of-drag Miss Vanjie, a.k.a. José Cancel. In a recent post, the 24 Hours of Love winner posted a photo riding on a motorcycle with Miss Vanjie in Spain. Janowicz wrote in the caption:

“10 months of riding through life with you.”

Even though Janowicz had a slow start in his pursuit of dating Miss Vanjie, it was probably due to how many chaotic cast members were featured on 24 Hours of Love and took up a lot of screentime in the first few episodes.

Over the course of the show, Janowicz kept growing his relationship with the host. However, one major speed bump that he faced was Miss Vanjie’s mother declaring that she didn’t particularly like him and didn’t think he was the right fit for Vanjie. Awkward.

Fortunately, everything changed in episode six when all of the contestants went to sleep in a separate room and Janowicz made a move on Miss Vanjie to spend time in her bedroom. The pair connected on a much deeper level at that point and even took a nap together, which ultimately culminated in Janowicz winning the series at the finale.

Though there was a lot of doubt regarding whether or not a serious relationship could come out of Vanjie: 24 Hours of Love, it seems clear that this process worked for Miss Vanjie as she is still together with Janowicz 10 months after filming the dating show. They are also getting to travel the world together due to Vanjie staying booked and busy as a highly successful drag performer.

24 Hours of Love was jam-packed with comedic moments, but guess what? Miss Vanjie and Janowicz are actually dating and staying strong! Maybe we should start calling them Mrs. and Mr. Vanjie now.
