Just ahead of the release of her upcoming album and film, Star-crossed, Kacey Musgraves has announced the supporting acts of her upcoming tour – and the gays are losing their minds.
King Princess and MUNA, two openly queer acts with massive LGBTQ+ followings, will be joining the Musgraves on her Star-Crossed: Unveiled tour!
Both celebrated the news on social media. "believe us when we say we are literally crying shaking trembling writing this," wrote MUNA on Instagram. "@spaceykacey is a huge inspiration to all three of us and it is very literally a dream come true to be able to say we will be joining her for this incredible run early next year."
King Princess, who is currently trending on Twitter because of the announcement, also posted about the tour. "I’m so proud to be supporting queen @spaceykacey <3 come see us," she wrote.
LGBTQ+ fans are losing their minds on social media. Leslie Jordan commented, "I want to be a groupie on this tour" on Musgraves's initial post. Drag Race star Gigi Goode just commented with three exclamation points and "Gasp". Fans are also reacting on Twitter:
