Hurricane Harvey has been devastating communities in southeast Texas and the surrounding areas, resulting in an estimated 30 flood-related deaths. As the devastation of Hurricane Harvey continues to mount, there is a lot of confusion surrounding how to get support to those in need.
The following are a few organizations providing critical resources to those impacted by Harvey:
Hurricane Harvey LGBTQ Disaster Relief Fund

Trans Disaster Relief Fund
Managed by the Transgender Foundation of America: a Houston-based grass-roots nonprofit supporting the Gulf-coast transgender community since 1998.
The Homeless Period Project ATX
An Austin-based group dedicated to providing menstrual products, hope and dignity to people displaced by the storm as well as folks experiencing homelessness.
Fund for African American Business Relief
Managed by the Greater Houston Black Chamber of Commerce, a nonprofit founded in 1935 that is working to support African-American businesses affected by Hurricane Harvey.
South Texas Human Rights Center
Acommunity based center that works to support immigrant families and prevent migrant deaths along the Texas border to Mexico, which was directly in Harvey's path.
