To paraphrase the pithy “A,” Pretty Little Liars is still here bitches!” ABC Family’s breakout series that features the adorable lady-killer Emily (Shay Mitchell) -- one of the few full-on lesbian characters on television – has been renewed for a third season, reports Deadline.

The series, which premiered in the summer of 2010 and runs in half seasons in the summer and winter, was picked up for 24 episodes, the typical number for a network drama, according to Deadline.

Pretty Little Liars, based on the series of books by Sara Shepard, focuses on four teens in the not-so-sleepy town of Rosewood, Penn. who are forever bound by their secrets, their bitchy bff’s murder and subsequently by the blackmailer “A,” who threatens to expose all of the skeletons in their collective closets.

If the promise of a third season weren’t enough, the fashion-forward quorum of Emily, Spencer (Troian Bellisario), Hanna (Ashley Benson) and Aria (Lucy Hale) return to TV on Jan. 2, 2012 to heat things up for PLL’s winter season!

Here’s the teaser if you haven’t seen it yet.
