The Good Wife's Monica Raymund to Perform at 'It Gets Better' Holiday Benefit

Fans of The Good Wife are well aware of Dana, the smokin’ hot new ASA who’s giving both Cary (Matt Czuchry) and Kalinda (Archie Panjabi) a run for their money, sleeping with one and flirting with the other. But what’s even better, is that the actress who portrays Dana, Monica Raymund, is a big LGBT ally with killer vocal prowess. And she’s combining her interests to perform at the “It Gets Better” campaign’s “A Better Holiday” benefit at Joe’s Pub in New York City on Dec. 5. Also appearing at the “It Gets Better” event are Michael Arden, Tituss Burgess, Nellie McKay, Rebecca Naomi Jones, Andrew Rannells, Dee Roscioli and Max von Essen.

"The It Gets Better Project was created to show young LGBT people the levels of happiness, potential, and positivity their lives will reach – if they can just get through their teen years. The It Gets Better Project wants to remind teenagers in the LGBT community that they are not alone — and it WILL get better," according to the IGB website.
Raymund, a Julliard grad, is a producer on the musical Volley Girls –music by Eli Bolin and lyrics by Sam Forman --in which she plays a lesbian volleyball player who sings wonderful ditties like “I Like Girls.”
We posted the video of Raymund singing a few weeks ago, but for those of you who missed it, or who just want to give it another spin, here it is again:
