We couldn’t possibly love ABC Family more after viewing the latest teaser for The Fosters, which places loving and affectionate lesbian moms front and center in the promo. The series is executive produced by Jennifer Lopez and stars Teri Polo and Sherri Saum as the lesbian mom couple raising a biological son, two adopted kids and a troubled girl they take in.

Polo and Saum  play Stef and Lena respectively, a mixed race couple. Saum’s Lena is a school principal who agrees to take Callie in without consulting with her partner Stef, who’s described as a “tough but kind” police officer who’s not initially looking to add to the family.

Australian actress Maia Mitchell plays Callie, the troubled teen who disrupts the Fosters’ way of life, while Louisiana native David Lambert plays the couple's biological son Brandon, reports Deadline.

Considering ABC Family’s thoughtful representation of characters on the LGBT spectrum on Pretty Little Liars, The Secret Life of the American Teenager and Greek, we’re really excited about The Fosters, which airs June 3, on ABC Family.

For now, here’s the latest promo!
