Remember the wunderkind slam poet Noah St. John, whose story about his lesbian moms and their Honda CRV won Performance of the Year from NPR’s “Snap Judgement?” Well, the 15-year-old’s homage to his moms caught the attention of the powers that be at ABC Family’s lesbian moms series The Fosters, and Noah is now slated to appear as a version of himself on the show, AfterEllen reported.
The series, created by Jennifer Lopez, will feature Noah as Garrett, “the hipster-friendly son of two lesbian moms and longtime family friend of the Fosters,” AE reported.
The Fosters stars Teri Polo and Sherri Saum as Stef and Lena respectively. Stef is a tough cop with a heart of gold and Lena is school principal. Together they are raising a biological son and adopted siblings when they decide to take on Maia, a troubled foster teen.
