It was a glorious day on April 23, when French lawmakers voted marriage equality into law. And for one French diner waitress, that day became revelatory as she hopped on to a banquette and proclaimed her lesbianism before hungry customers.

When I was a child I had a dream. Now I am an adult and I realize I am a lesbian,” the waitress shouted. “I can be MARRIED!”

And then the restaurant’s customers applauded her affirmation.

Congrats to that waitress in that French Diner and to all other French women who are feeling like shouting from the rooftops that they are lesbians!
