Is Katy Perry’s “Roar” a feminist anthem for the ages? Probably not, but it is fun, and that sort-of seems like what she’s trying to put forth in the video. Just look at how she makes use of a high heel once she rips it off, not to mention that she makes swinging on a rope look so much easier than Tarzan ever did. (Disclaimer: We are fully aware that Katy is no modern Betty Friedan)
