Ellen DeGeneres in Faux Feud with Family Feud Contestant:Video

The queen of queer daytime, Ellen DeGeneres, has thrown down a gauntlet to the Sutton family, whose patriarch accused Ellen of hating America during a friendly game of Family Feud. The Sutton daughters offered three correct answers including that Ellen's gay, she's on a talk show and she's funny before Mike Sutton thwarted their buzz by answering, "She doesn't like our country very well," to which the family and the audience mysteriously applauded.

The queen of queer daytime, Ellen DeGeneres, has thrown down a gauntlet to the Sutton family, whose patriarch accused Ellen of hating America during a friendly game of Family Feud.

During a segment entitled "Something Everyone Knows About Ellen DeGeneres" on the wildly popular game show that's been forcing families to work together to win cold hard cash and prizes for decades, the Sutton family dad Mike blew the family's correct answer streak with an uncomfortably out-of-place, if not forced, jab at Ellen.

The Sutton daughters offered three correct answers including that Ellen's gay, she's on a talk show and she's funny before Mike Sutton thwarted their buzz by answering, "She doesn't like our country very well," to which the family and the audience mysteriously applauded. Mama Sutton tried to save the day with a lovely answer about how Ellen loves her mom, but the winning answer came from another daughter, who said Ellen is married.

Gently mocking the Family Feud segment on her show, Ellen went on to invite the Suttons to appear on the Ellen DeGeneres Show to play a friendly game of "No or Go."

Gauntlet thrown. Your turn Mike.
