Listen: Natalie Maines Covers 'God Only Knows' for 'Big Love' Finale, Video

HBO series Big Love is coming to an end on March 20 and fans will be sad to see the sensational, scandalous and secretive family go.

But here’s something to make saying goodbye just a little bit sweeter, Dixie Chicks lead singer Natalie Maines recorded a new cover of the Beach Boy’s classic, “God Only Knows” for the series finale.

The song, which is familiar to fans not only as a massive Beach Boys radio hit, but from the opening credits on the HBO show, got a refreshing and soulful cover by Maines this past January. Recorded in Malibu, CA with producer extraordinaire Rick Rubin, the track is available on iTunes today and features Red Hot Chili Peppers’ Chad Smith on the drums.
