Rihanna’s performance at the Billboard Music Awards over the weekend gave little Ri the chance to showcase how she has developed as a performer.
Looking as fierce as ever, little Ri (as I like to refer since we’re BFF’s and all) left the costumes of her native Barbados behind, which you may remember from her island themed performance on the AMA’s last November, and really come out. I wasn’t sure how she was going to top those fringed skirts, but this time around, Rihanna took her performance to a new level.
The pleather one piece, Britney’s special guest appearance, and a little smooch bringing “S & M” to life made for a unique display of Rihanna’s raw talent [yawn]. I hope you etch that visual in your minds, ladies and ladies, because I’m almost positive a kiss between two female celebrities in the spotlight won’t ever happen again.
This kiss was so unique, in fact, that we decided to share a few other “unique” random displays of raw talent over the years… all in the name of art.

Madonna + Christina Aguilera: Once the bridge was gapped, Madonna turned and sealed the deal with Christina. She was just trying to be thorough in case one of the pop princesses decides to have babies and fall of the face of the pop scene planet.
Sandra Bullock + Scarlett Johansson: The blonde bombshell was asked to be a third presenter to add a little color to the shot. With all the excitement and firm hugs from the other presenters, Johansson seemed a bit lethargic causing Bullock to be concerned for her well being and attempt to breathe a little life back into Johansson.
