Aaron Carter Tweets to Fans After Rehab News Breaks
Wishing you a quick and painless recovery!
This past Friday, bisexual popstar Aaron Carter posted on Twitter that he is going to be "disappearing for a while," just as various outlets reported that he will be entering rehab.
TMZ initially broke the news that the singer would be heading into rehab, and People confirmed the news with Carter’s publicist. For what specifically, we’re not sure.
Here’s what Aaron tweeted:
Aaron has been making quite the splash these past couple of months after he came out as bisexual.
Bi people have higher rates of depression, anxiety, and risk for suicide than their gay and lesbian peers. Often, these mental health issues correlate with drug abuse, which is why bisexual individuals have higher rates of drug abuse than the rest of the population.
The singer is just one example of how bisexual individuals often struggle with addiction.
We're wishing you a speedy recovery, Aaron, and we look forward to see you back in action soon!
