Critics Clap Back at Louis CK Over Transphobic 'Jokes' About Asian Men

Can we just leave him in 2018?

Continuing his freefall into the 9th circle of hell (and ultimately, irrelevance), more of Louis C.K.'s terrible opinions masquerading as comedy have come to light—this time aimed at Asian men.

C.K., who's been accused of sexual harassment by five women for masturbating in front of them, made headlines earlier this week for his attack on the Parkland shooting survivors.

"You’re not interesting because you went to a high school where kids got shot," he can be heard saying in a bootleg recording. "Why does that mean I have to listen to you? How does that make you interesting? You didn’t get shot, you pushed some fat kid in the way and now I need to listen to you talking?"

The recording only gets worse. Next Shark, an online publication for the voice of the Global Asian Youth, noticed some disturbing comments the 51-year-old made about the genitalia of Asian men 33-minutes into the set.

"You know why Asian guys have small dicks?" laughs C.K. "'Cause they’re women. They’re not dudes. They’re all women. All Asians are women. And they have big clits, really big clits, and when they have sex they just stick their clits in each other’s pussies and then they procreate using math."

Let's unpack that. Racism? Check. Misogyny? Check. Transphobia? Check. General grossness. Check.

But perhaps even more disturbing, the audience's unperturbed cackles at C.K.

People took to Twitter to call out C.K. for just being an all-around foul human being.

Some also questioned why these comments were left out of initial mainstream media reports on C.K.s set, including PRIDE's.

"The fact that Louis C.K.’s anti-Asian jokes weren’t originally reported speaks volumes to how casually Americans still treat anti-Asian racism," pointed out Vulture critic E. Alex Jung. "Same with Chappelle. Same with Tiffany Haddish."

We've all got to do better, but I hope we can collectively agree to just leave Louis C.K. in 2018, shall we?
