Heated Rivalry star Hudson Williams may not have been up for an Oscar this year, but he still managed to take over the red carpet and our social media timelines.
He stunned with his effortless chic all-black suit, jewel-encrusted statement brooch and silver hoop earrings, and then managed to charm every interviewer he came across on the red carpet.
Williams, who shot to fame late last year by starring in the gay hockey romance show that has been on everyone’s tongues for months now, also took time out to chat with fans on his way into the ceremony.
And of course, he was as cheeky as ever!
Sex sells
Everyone involved with Heated Rivalry has been fairly tight-lipped about what we’ll see in season 2 of the extremely popular show, but Williams let a hint slip on the red carpet.
When speaking with CNN and Variety, he was asked what the upcoming season — which is set to premiere in April 2027 — has in store for fans, and his simple one-word answer should have everyone excited: “Sex.”
How he'll make season 2 even better
When Zuri Hall from Live from E!: Oscars 2026 asked Williams how he was going to top season 1, his response was classic Hudson Williams.
“By trusting [creator] Jacob Tierney,” he said. “Signing my life away and just try to buss it down as hard as I possibly can.”
"I'm coming to the cottage"
When Ilya Rozanov told Williams’ character Shane Hollander that he was “coming to the cottage” at the end of episode 5, fans swooned, and the line has become one that is frequently repeated.
This is why one brave and intrepid fan decided to shoot her shot and say, “Hudson, take me to the cottage,” as Williams was walking the red carpet. His reaction? “Okay,” he said with a sassy grin on his face.
His real-life beard
Williams made a joke that only a true Heated Rivalry fan would understand when Chicken Shop Date host Amelia Dimoldenberg asked him, “Do you think I’d make a good beard wife?” during an interview on the red carpet.
“Yeah, I think you’re like my Rose Landry in real life,” he quipped in response.
