So What Are Troye Sivan & Shawn Mendes' Stances on Choking?

The two pop kings have very different reactions when it came to thirsty requests from fans!

If you've ever wanted to know how Troye Sivan and Shawn Mendes—two of pop music's reigning heartthrobs/twinks—feel about being asked by fans to choke them, well then I guess today is your lucky day!

As our friends at Queerty recently pointed out, a dedicated stan recently compiled clips from each popstar's entry in BuzzFeed's "Celebs Read Thirst Tweets" video series, and there's a stark contrast between how Shawn reacts to requests from fans to choke him, and how Troye reacts.

"Do you think if I ask nicely Shawn Mendes would choke me?" one particularly thirsty tweet read.

"The bad thing about this tweet is that I've seen this so many times," the "If I Can't Have You" crooner replied, looking a mix of concerned and confused. "Don't ask anybody to choke you."

"I love Troye Sivan so much, gosh choke me, hit me with a truck" a different tweet to Troye read.

"That one's not that bad," Troye replies cheekily. "Thank you, that's actually very sweet."

Troye himself noticed the tweet, and his differing opinion on choking from Shawn, and had nothing to say other than a simple "LMFAO."

You learn something new about a person every day!

Watch Troye and Shawn's reactions to fans wanting to choke them (and other thirsty things!) in the videos below.
