Romeo Beckham is taking a swing!
The handsome actor certainly doesn't fall far from the tree when it comes to top-tier genes from his father David Beckham. While fans have watched the 24-year-old grow up, they're counting down the days until his official big-screen and professional acting debut in the new queer film Forty Love.
The gay sports drama and coming-of-age romance follows the high-stakes world professional tennis on the French Riviera. Similar to Heated Rivalry, the movie centers on an intense rivals-to-lovers story.
Sacha Gallo (played by Paul Kircher) is a 21-year-old rising tennis superstar who serves as the main character and spends his entire life undergoing rigorous elite training under the strict supervision of his father (played by Guillaume Canet). Although his sights are on winning his first major championship title in Paris, his life turns upside down by the arrival of a highly charismatic, confident new rival (played by Romeo Beckham).
As the two men face off on the court, their fierce professional friction begins to cross over into mutual attraction, intimacy, and a passionate relationship. According to the movie's official logline, Sacha finds himself up against an entirely different kind of opponent: love. Let's be real, that's far more dangerous than anything he has encountered on the court before.
Forty Love is scheduled to hit theaters in France on November 25, 2026 and global distribution plans are still in the works. Check out the trailer below!
