Following the success of Netflix's latest YA series Heartstopper, star Joe Locke has a new goal role!

Locke, who responded to an open casting call and was picked for the leading gay role out of over 10,000 applicants with no prior acting experience, has quickly been thrust into the spotlight and currently boasts 2 million followers on Instagram. The 18-year-old's beginnings are humble, but his sights are set on the stars.

In a new interview with Independent, Locke says that while he's waiting on Heartstopper season 2 just like the rest of us, he's hoping the show will lead him to "more projects that mean something." For example, "I would love to play the first gay Disney prince. That would be a dream."

He's certainly got the charm! While fans in the comments agree, others worry Disney would de-gay it too much to actually work. Who's to say though! Maybe Locke can manifest some proper Disney representation!
