World of Wonder

The competition is heating up in the North!

Canada's Drag Race is finally getting the All Stars treatment, as nine fan-favorite queens are returning to the Werk Room to finish what they started.

With a sickening cast that includes Aurora Matrix, Jackie Cox, Jada Shada Hudson, Juice Boxx, Makayla Couture, Nearah Nuff, Pythia, Sami Landri, and Tiffany Ann Co., there's no shortage of stunts and shenanigans that'll make the inaugural season one not to miss.

Canada's Drag Race All Stars is also making herstory with a judges panel made up entirely of RuPaul's Drag Race alumni. Crowned queens Priyanka and Jimbo are joining Hytes every week to spill the tea and share their critiques. It's a family reunion!

"It's about time! We've been praying and hoping for this moment. We have such an amazing roster of queens to choose from. We have six seasons to pick from! When you delay things, it makes people want them more. This was the perfect time to wait and tease everybody. It does not disappoint," Hytes tells Out.

Although the cast is certainly stacked with a diverse crop of queens, Hytes admits that there was one particular contestant that she was hoping to see return to the Werk Room.

"I love that we have our OG Porkchop queen, Juice Boxx! I was so excited she was going to be there. I didn't pick the cast, but she was my number one hope to come back. Nobody deserves it more than her. Season 1 queens got so much attention online, so they were able to build off of that. So many pussies were stepped up!"

Hytes is certainly sitting pretty as the main judge on Canada's Drag Race, but many fans are manifesting a Werk Room return of her own on a regular season of RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars in the near future.

"Never say never, but right now I'm quite comfortable in my slippers behind the desk. It would have to be the right moment and the right time. I don't know if I need to do it again, but you never know. You have to be open to the universe and the possibilities, so we'll see!"

It's been a big summer for Hytes, who, in addition to serving as a Drag Race judge, also starred in Stop! That! Train!, Adam Shankman's drag disaster film headlined by RuPaul. Previously, Hytes spoke to Out about her character Amber, the queen bee of the train stewardesses aboard the Glamazonian Express.

"Amber is so much fun. Everyone loves a Mean Girls moment, and no one is as iconic as Regina George," Hytes said. "I guess that makes me the Rachel McAdams of drag? [Laughs.] She's bitchy, yeah, but she's a perfectionist. She wants everything done properly. I can relate to that."
