A seemingly unlikely choice for our Daily Dish, former teen idol from the most famous Mormon family on the planet, Marie Osmond, makes the cut today for publicly supporting her lesbian daughter Jessica. Half of that irrepressible brother and sister singing duo Donny and Marie, Marie told KOST 103.5 in Los Angeles that despite her strong Mormon faith, when it comes to gay marriage, she  believes in civil rights for all.

Here's to Marie. She's still forever "A Little Bit Country" for all those glued to the living room couch for the Donny and Marie Show on Friday nights in the seventies.
