Spring has sprung and queer entertainment is hoppin’ this month! Some of our favorite queer shows are returning like The Last of Us, Andor, Black Mirror, andDoctor Who. Plus, audiences will be treated to the much-anticipated debut of On Swift Horses, The Wedding Banquet, Lilies Not For Me, and A Nice Indian Boy. But that’s not all — not even close. Keep scrolling to learn all the queer programming coming to the big and small screens this April.

Emmy Award-winning docu-reality series, Love on the Spectrum, is an insightful and warm-hearted series following people on the autism spectrum as they navigate the world of dating and relationships. In its third season, this U.S.-based series tells the stories of unique and diverse individuals — including new romantic hopefuls and familiar faces — searching for something we all hope to find, love.

In this animated adaptation of the popular Capcom game and from the vision of Adi Shankar, sinister forces are at play to open the portal between the human and demon realms. In the middle of it all is Dante, an orphaned demon-hunter-for-hire, unaware that the fate of both worlds hangs around his neck.

Set six years after the events at Camp Cretaceous, members of “The Nublar Six” are struggling to find their footing off the islands, navigating a world now filled with dinosaurs and people who want to hurt them. Reunited in the wake of a tragedy, the group comes together only to find themselves on the run and catapulted into a global adventure to unravel a conspiracy that threatens dinosaur and humankind alike and finally learn the truth about what happened to one of their own.

Self-effacing doctor Naveen Gavaskar meets Jay Kurundkar, a white man adopted by two Indian parents, when Jay takes his picture at the hospital. Despite initial skepticism on Naveen’s part, the two quickly fall in love. Naveen avoids telling his traditional family—parents Megha & Archit and sister Arundhathi—who accepted his sexuality years earlier and are close to him but increasingly don’t know much about his life. Eventually, inevitably, Jay, with no family of his own, has to meet the Gavaskars, who have never met a boyfriend of Naveen's. What follows is the comedic & heartfelt collision between the family, Jay and Naveen, caught between the versions of himself his family and Jay know.

In 1920s England, a young novelist (Fionn O’Shea) has been institutionalized because of his sexuality. As he tells his story to a sensitive nurse, he reveals the love he shared with a handsome doctor who became convinced their shared ‘condition’ could be cured. Writer/director Will Seefried’s bleedingly romantic debut feature shines an unflinching light on a dark and mostly unknown period of gay history. Evoking a handsome Merchant Ivory-esque production with a dash of gothic flair, Lilies Not For Me is a reminder that despite the many attempts throughout history to change queer folks at their very core, passion and love have always persevered.

RuPaul’s Drag Race Live! Untucked transports viewers backstage of ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race Live!,’ showcasing a heartwarming cast of fan-favorite queens and following them through their daily lives on the Vegas strip.

Filming on March 26 at London’s iconic Palladium Theatre and accompanied by a live band, Elton John and Brandi Carlile will perform songs from their new album, Who Believes in Angels? which is available on April 4 via Interscope Records. The musicians will also play a selection of their individual greatest hits, including timeless classics from Elton’s catalogue and a very special performance of an unreleased track by Carlile.
Between these electrifying solo and duo performances, Elton and Brandi will also invite the audience into an intimate sit-down conversation on stage that will pull back the curtain on their 20-year friendship, the profound journey behind their latest collaboration and share intimate footage from their process. Additionally, throughout the evening, those closest to Elton and Brandi will pay emotional tributes to the artists’ illustrious careers.

In the final season of The Handmaid’s Tale, June’s unyielding spirit and determination pull her back into the fight to take down Gilead. Luke and Moira join the resistance. Serena tries to reform Gilead while Commander Lawrence and Aunt Lydia reckon with what they have wrought, and Nick faces challenging tests of character. This final chapter of June’s journey highlights the importance of hope, courage, solidarity, and resilience in the pursuit of justice and freedom.

Lose your mind. Lose your reality. The Emmy Award-winning series returns with six new stories. Nothing is as it seems.

Five years after the events of the first season, Joel and Ellie are drawn into conflict with each other and a world even more dangerous and unpredictable than the one they left behind.

From creator Ramy Youssef comes #1 Happy Family USA, an adult-animated series following the maniacally upbeat Husseins - the most patriotic, most peaceful, and most definitely-not-suspicious Muslim family in post-9/11 "Amreeka." With satire and absurdity, it redefines finding humor in hardship as they navigate the early 2000s under the watchful eyes of their terrified neighbors.

The rich and powerful take what they want, but the Leverage Crew is back to fight for the little guy. This season the team pits themselves against a power broker stealing the clean water under people's feet and turning into dirty money, fight against a Mayor who's literally the judge and jury of his small town, outrun a mark who's finally caught up with them mid-con, outhustle a pool hustler with a side business in international extortion, and bring down an industrialist exploiting child labor. On a desolate, Midwestern county road, a bound man crawls towards a remote postal box, managing to slide a blood-stained plea-for-help message into the slot before a panicking figure closes in behind him. The note makes its way to the county post office and onto the desk of Jasper, a seasoned and skilled "dead letter" investigator, responsible for investigating lost mail and returning it to its sender. As he investigates further, Jasper meets Trent, a strange yet unassuming man who has taken up residence at the men’s home where Jasper lives. When Trent unexpectedly shows up at Jasper’s office, it becomes clear he has a vested interest in the note, and will stop at nothing to retrieve it...

An outrageous lesbian pop musical satire inspired by the pop frenzy of the early 2000s, Queens of Drama charts the rise and fall of new star Mimi Madamour and her passionate, rage-fueled love affair with punk icon Billie Kohler. Over the course of half a century we follow these drama queens as they top the charts and set sail on the course of mad queer love.

The second season of Andor takes place as the horizon of war draws near and Cassian becomes a key player in the Rebel Alliance. Everyone will be tested and, as the stakes rise, the betrayals, sacrifices and conflicting agendas will become profound. Rife with political intrigue and danger, the series is a prequel to Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, which portrayed a heroic band of rebels who steal the plans to the Empire’s weapon of mass destruction—The Death Star—setting the stage for the events of the original 1977 film. Andor sets the clock back five years from the events of Rogue One to tell the story of the film’s hero, Cassian Andor, and his transformation from a disinterested, cynical nobody into a rebel hero on his way to an epic destiny.

NETFLIX
Eighteen of the greatest Netflix Reality Universe stars will face off against each other in Battle Camp, a new series launching on April 23. To take home the title of the ultimate Netflix reality competitor (plus a cash prize of $250,000), they’ll have to endure high-octane challenges, grueling punishments, and a giant spinning “wheel of misfortune” that determines who stays in camp and who must pack their bags and head home. Overseeing the reality crossover chaos is host Taylor Lewan, who will at least try to keep things civil between bunkmates.

Set in New York City and Paris, the eight-episode Étoile follows the dancers and artistic staff of two world-renowned ballet companies, as they embark on an ambitious gambit to save their storied institutions by swapping their most talented stars.

Lesbian comic Jessica Kirson's second comedy special is heading to Hulu this month. In it Kirson gives her hilarious perspective on everything from TikTok to her time at a trauma center.

Muriel and her husband Lee are beginning a bright new life in California when he returns from the Korean War. But their newfound stability is upended by the arrival of Lee’s charismatic brother, Julius, a wayward gambler with a secret past. A dangerous love triangle quickly forms. When Julius takes off in search of the young card cheat he’s fallen for, Muriel’s longing for something more propels her into a secret life of her own, gambling on racehorses and exploring a love she never dreamed possible.

Freshly out of the closet, misunderstood by her adopted parents, and heading to college in the fall, teenage animator Twinkie teeters on the cusp of adulthood waiting out the summer with her best friend Egghead and secretly DMing her Insta-famous DJ crush BD. But when BD proposes meeting in person for the first time at their show some 500 miles away from Twinkie’s Florida home, there’s only one thing for her to do...enlist Egghead to steal her parents’ car and hit the open road. Bursting at the seams with exuberant flourishes of rotoscoped anime and clever visual montage, director Sarah Kambe Holland’s debut feature is a breath of fresh air into the queer coming-of-age film — enlivening themes of racial and sexual identity, young love, and ride-or-die friendship with flair to spare in its distinctly Gen Z sensibility.
