Even on Oscars Sunday, everyone is talking about Heated Rivalry.
The sexy gay hockey series was a main talking about throughout award show season this year as fans eagerly await the second season to drop in spring 2027.
While Connor Storrie and Hudson Williams turned heads at the Vanity Fair Oscars Party Sunday night, Robbie Graham-Kuntz and Nadine Bhabha opened up on their passionate LGBTQ+ fanbase while attending the Elton John AIDS Foundation Academy Awards Viewing Party.
"We love the gays! We love the rainbow. It's a really good show for representation and queer joy. We're happy to be a part of it," Bhabha tells Out.
The popular duo even spilled the tea on their favorite scenes from Heated Rivalry. Although many LGBTQ+ celebrities love the steamy moments from the sexy show, both Bhabha and G.K. prefer the more wholesome moments between the leading men.
"I mean obviously the end of episode 5, but the Russian monologue," Bhabha says.
"I would say that! I honestly just love the scenes when they're at the cottage just living their lives. It's so sweet and Muskoka is so charming. Very Canadian," Graham-Kuntz adds.
Although creator Jacob Tierney and author Rachel Reid have already teased what's to come in season 2, Bhabha and G.K. would love to see their characters let loose in future episodes.
"One episode, we're all drunk in an elevator? A little dinner? Let's go! It's year of the fireworks, baby," Bhabha says.
"Have a little scene with Scott, my dad, and you? Yeah! Keep going," Graham-Kuntz adds.
The second season of Heated Rivalry is slated to drop in April 2027. To see the full interview with Robbie G.K. and Nadine Bhabha, check out the video at the top of the page.
