The pansexual god of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) is coming back, baby!

Following an incredibly successful first season on Disney+, Loki is returning for season two on October 6, 2023. The second season is set to bring back Tom Hiddleston as the titular character, as well as Sophia Di Martino (Sylvie), Owen Wilson (Mobius M. Mobius) Gugu Mbatha-Raw (Ravonna Renslayer), and Jonathan Majors (Victor Timely).

So far, what we know about season two of Loki is that the protagonist will once again be working with the Time Variance Authority (TVA) alongside Mobius. Moreover, the new season will apparently explore “new emotional ground” for Loki (via Deadline).

Ke Huy Quan will also appear in this new season of Loki and has revealed that the story will focus on “a battle for the soul of the TVA” (via CBR).

The announcement also included more information about Echo, Marvel’s upcoming Disney+ series that follows the events of the Hawkeye TV show.

Premiering November 29, Echo will center around Maya Lopez (played by Alaqua Cox), who was introduced on Hawkeye as the deaf commander of the Tracksuit Mafia. On the new show, Maya will return to her hometown in Oklahoma to reconnect with her family and Native American roots.

We can’t wait for our pansexual god Loki to come back, and we’re also looking forward to seeing Maya Lopez’s story get even more developed on Echo!

Loki season two premieres October 6 on Disney+.
