Hudson Williams is speaking out against the men who allegedly sexually assaulted a woman at Cornell University.
The 25-year-old Heated Rivalry star called for the arrest of the Cornell Seven, the men named in a civil lawsuit over an alleged sexual assault, in a message on his Instagram Stories on September 29.
“Arrest them. Fuck them and fuck Cornell too,” Williams wrote alongside headshots of the men accused in the case.
Williams posted this statement after the seven then-Chi Phi fraternity members accused of drugging and raping a fellow student — identified only as Jane Doe, who was 20 at the time of the alleged incident — were named in a new civil lawsuit alongside the university, and the Tompkins County District Attorney's Office reopened the criminal investigation.
Other celebrities have also spoken out against the Cornell Seven, including Florence Pugh, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Josh Gad, and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit star Mariska Hargitay.
“This is really the moment where we need our men to be as horrified and as sickened as us,“ Pugh wrote on her Instagram earlier this week. ”You need to be leading conversations about how we change the allowance and complicity of this behavior as much as we are. How can you expect us to trust that it’s ‘not all men’ when in moments like this, many of you stay quiet?”
Celebrities began calling out the way the case has been handled after Jane Doe’s allegations made national headlines this week. According to the lawsuit, Doe reported the alleged gang rape in October 2024 to the Cornell University Police Department, but no criminal charges were filed. Instead, the lawsuit alleges that temporary suspensions were issued in November 2024 and some of the defendants “were afforded the opportunity to mitigate their conduct by submitting essays” to the university.
