Sex Education is returning for a fourth and (sob) final season this summer, and today Netflix shared the first look images for the final adventures and awkward sexual escapades of the gang as the series reaches its, ahem, climax.

This season offers new places, new problems, and some new but very familiar faces including Schitt’s Creek star, Dan Levy, Thaddea Graham (Doctor Who), Lisa McGrillis (Somewhere Boy), Marie Reuther (Kamikaze), actress and model Jodie Turner-Smith, comedian Eshaan Akbar and newcomers Felix Mufti, Anthony Lexa, Alexandra James, Reda Elazouar, Bella Maclean, and Imani Yahshua.

And of course, all your faves are returning as well. Asa Butterfield leads the cast as Otis Milburn, alongside Gillian Anderson, Ncuti Gatwa, Aimee-Lou Wood, Emma Mackey, Connor Swindells, Kedar Williams-Stirling, Mimi Keene, George Robinson, Chinenye Ezeudu, Dua Saleh, Alistair Petrie, Samantha Spiro, Jim Howick, Rakhee Thakrar, and Daniel Ings.

In this final season, the action picks up following the closure of Moordale Secondary. Now Otis and Eric are facing a new frontier at a new school, as they attend their first day at Cavendish Sixth Form College. For Otis, that means dealing with his nerves over setting up his new clinic, while Eric is busy praying they won’t be losers again on this new campus.

Speaking of which, Cavendish is a bit of a culture shock for all the Moordale students, if they thought their old school was progressive this new college is another level. At Cavendish there’s daily yoga in the communal garden, a strong sustainability vibe, and kindness is the new cool!

According to the official logline, “Viv is totally thrown by the college’s student-led, non-competitive approach, while Jackson is still struggling to get over Cal. Aimee tries something new by taking an Art A-Level and Adam grapples with whether mainstream education is for him. Over in the US, Maeve is living her dream at the prestigious Wallace University, being taught by cult author Thomas Molloy. Otis is pining after her, whilst adjusting to not being an only child at home, or the only therapist on campus.”

Yeah, Sex Education is really set to go out with a bang when it returns to Netflix on September 21. But what else would you expect? Scroll through for a peek at what's to come.
