When Shelter was released, it swept film festivals and won several awards including a GLAAD Award for Outstanding Film. Through its mesmerizing cinematography, winning performances and unique soundtrack, Shelter has earned its top spot in queer cinema history.

Although Shelter has always been exceptionally popular, for many years, it was nearly impossible to find. Thankfully, Here TV rereleased the film, and is offering a Freeview this week.
