The red carpet for Welcome to Chippendales featured the show’s phenomenal cast, which includes Murray Bartlett, Kumail Nanjiani, Annaleigh Ashford, Robin de Jesús, and Quentin Plair, among others. Showrunner Robert Siegel also walked the red carpet and spoke to the press.
At the event, PRIDE got to interview the cast and crew of Welcome to Chippendales and even discussed the queerness that is very much present in this story about male strippers and building a business around them.

Feel as though you have a rageful scream perpetually caught in your throat? Wish you had somewhere to put those feelings of frustration and anger over the state of the world? Want some catharsis with a side of bloody revenge, but, you know, legally?
That’s where genre filmmaking becomes such a mental health lifeline, especially horror, and particularly films like Ready or Not 2: Here I Come. Like its predecessor, the film functions as both an adrenaline rush and a darkly hilarious eat-the-rich revenge fantasy, pitting a woman — or in this case two women — against a horde of elitist, sociopathic monsters and letting us watch her cut through them one by one.

The wacky, swashbuckling series One Piece returns this week, and not only does it continue to be a joy, but it remains one of the best representations of the power of radical acceptance to hit our screens in ages.
For those unfamiliar, the series follows a group of outcasts and weirdos who band together in a quest for the ultimate pirate treasure (and various other personal missions) and, with one another, find not only wild adventure but a beautiful chosen family. This live-action adaptation of the manga-turned-anime has long been beloved by queer readers and audiences because, at its core — its heart — is how its lead character, Monkey D. Luffy, models absolute radical acceptance.
