GO.GO Festival Announces Line-Up!

The 2012 GO.GO Festival line-up has been announced! Chart toppers and up-and-comers are filling the Main Stage at the three-day festival in London this June. GO.GO Festival takes place at Damyns Hall Aerodrome, London, from June 8-10, 2012.

The Main Stage, headlined by Peaches, will also have Jill Jackson, Wallis Bird, B*tch, JOANovARC, Call the Doctor and Kirsty McGee. In the Big Top, comedians Lara King, Checkley and Bush are slated to provide a good dose of laughter. The Library will have literary readings, Q&A sessions, as well as workshops from top female authors throughout the weekend.

The brand new Peacock Lounge, full of retro glamour, will have nightly burlesque shows, with The Tootsie Rollers strutting their 40’s style on opening night. Each act has been handpicked for their unique style and demand from the festival audience. Plenty of show stopping performers, including burlesque dancer Kiki Kaboom, and Australia’s No.1 female DJ Neroli will be doing what they do best.

The GO.GO Festival kicks off June 8, 2012, with three huge launch parties. In the Big Top will host Club GO.GO. Burlesque stars Luna Rosa and Effie Vescent will host the Dance Down the Decades party in the Peacock Lounge. London’s infamous Candy Bar is recreating the famous venue as seen on Channel 5’s Candy Bar Girls in the heart of GO.GO, with stars of the show on the DJ decks.

GO.GO Festival is a whirlwind 72 hours of fun, offering a mainstream festival experience for LGBT women. It’s a weekend full of live music, comedy, clubbing and kink fused together in one exciting event.
