A pair of lesbian moms from Jonesboro, Ga., just wrapped up a whirlwind trip across the country, packing their seven (!) kids up in the family van and getting married nine times, in eight different cities, in 10 days.

SheWired's sibling publication, OUT, first featured Kacey Frierson and Chwanda Nixon in its February "Love" issue, where the couple first revealed their plans to take a cross-country trek for equality.

Now that the couple — who first entered into a civil union in Illinois in 2011 — has returned from their epic journey, OUTcaught up with the happy wives.

Nixon told OUT her favorite wedding locale was New York City's Central Park, although Nixon noted that the Big Apple is a pricey place to hang out.

"I loved us walking around," said Nixon. "And having our wedding in Central Park was the best!"

Frierson agreed. "M[y favorite] was also New York," she said. "But it was so beautiful in Vermont. Breathtaking scenery!"

The couple also applauded their seven children, all of whom piled into the family's seven-seater minivan to make the two-week journey. Nixon called the journey "ri-dunk-ulous," but also says she can't wait to keep the momentum going by visiting two more U.S. states that recently passed marriage equality.

"Marriage equality has passed in 13 countries," Frierson said. "So we may be taking this thing internationally!"

Watch the couple make it official (again) in New Hampshire, below.
