Andrew Garfield is dishing on the hilarious photoshoot of that meme recreation.

Spider-Man: No Way Home gave us a lot to be thrilled about, but one of the best things that came from getting three Peter Parkers in the same room was undoubtedly a recreation of the iconic meme showing three Spider-Men pointing at one another.

But according to Andrew Garfield, getting that shot was actually pretty difficult.

The actor, who took on the role of Parker after Tobey Maguire and before Tom Holland, chatted with Jimmy Kimmel recently about how it came to be.

“Me and Tobey landed on set, they put us in the costumes, and they said, ‘We’re going to do the meme really quickly,’” he said. “It was before we had shot anything.”

A version of the meme was recreated in the movie itself as well as in a photoshoot, but the latter came first.

“We were all kind of thrown onto a set and told to point at each other,” Garfield continued. “I think we got one good shot, and that’s [the one released] because the rest of the time, we were just laughing, trying not to stare at each other’s crotches. Just comparing bulges.”

After the bulge-staring contest wrapped up, all three Spideys seemed to have a great time together on set, as they’ve each spoken fondly of working together in the months following the movie’s release.

Although, we still don’t have answers regarding Holland’s accusation that one of them was wearing a fake butt during filming. Inquiring minds need to know!
