In today's disappointing news, High School Musical icon and one-timeRuPaul's Drag Race guest judge (who's still so into vouging right now) Vanessa Hudgens has made some rather...interesting (read: insensitive) comments about the current, ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

"Yeah, 'til July sounds like a bunch of bullshit, I'm sorry," the actress can be heard saying in a screen-recording of a recent Instagram live video that was posted to Twitter by Yashar Ali.

While we're not sure exactly what the question or comment she was responding to was, from the sound of it, it seems like Hudgens was addressing the prolonged timeline of the current coronavirus crisis (President Trump recently said the U.S. may be able to get the situation under control by July or August, according to CNBC).

But it gets cringier. She continued:

"It's a virus, I get it, I respect it but at the same time, like, even if everyone gets it, like, yeah people are going to die, which is terrible, but like, inevitable? I don’t know maybe I shouldn’t be doing this right now."

As expected, people didn't react well to Hudgens' choice of words...

*sigh*

Sorry, Vanessa, we've loved you for a while and all, but maybe a global pandemic that has had a real-life effect on millions of people's lives and has had real-life casualties isn't the kind of thing to be making "inevitable" comments about?
