Original Angel Farrah Fawcett is back in a Los Angeles hospital battling cancer, which has plagued her since 2006, a source told
People. Diagnosed with anal cancer three years ago, Fawcett -- a seventies poster girl after she starred in
Charlie’s Angels – has been in and out of hospitals and is reportedly not doing well. She was placed in the hospital for at least two weeks, People reported.
Her battle against the disease was chronicled in the recent
NBC documentary
Farrah’s Story. "There was a moment last week when she was supposed to be released and was going home but things changed," says the source.
Meanwhile Fawcett’s rep Arnold Robinson merely said, “She is still being treated for her condition.”
Fawcett’s longtime on-again / off-again companion and the father of her son Redmond, Ryan O’Neil has asked her to marry him, which he will reveal later in the week in a televised interview with Barbara Walters on
ABC.
"I've asked her to marry me again and she's agreed,” O’Neal told Walters.
