Otalia lives! Sort of…

Half of Daytime’s dynamic lesbian duo, Guiding Light’s Crystal Chappell Tweeted that she and her onscreen paramour Jessica Leccia would re-team for Chappell’s lesbian-themed Web series, Venice.

"The lovely Jessica Leccia is the newest cast member of VENICE.” Chappell, the series’ writer, producer and star, wrote on Twitter.  Chappell, who is playing the show’s lead, Gina, likely got Otalia fans into a lather Tweeting about her former Guiding Light love, "She'll be playing the role of 'Ani', a photographer. Jess is very excited about doing the series, and we're so thrilled to have her! Who could resist those beautiful brown eyes? Prob not Gina."

Daytime Emmy winner, Chappell as Olivia and Leccia as Natalia, became overnight lesbian soap darlings when The Guiding Light wrote in a positive lesbian love story for the stunning pair.

Now, fans who were heartbroken when Otalia ended can eye the pair over and over on Venice. Is there a wedding gondola in their future?
