Kristian Nairn (aka Hodor from Game of Thrones) might be running for political office in Northern Ireland to fight for marriage equality.

The 6'10" gay actor/DJ, who's nominated for the Tearjerker trophy at this year's upcoming MTV Movie & TV Awards for his heartbreaking scene in the most recent season of Game of Thrones, has strong opinions on marriage equality still being illegal in his home country.
Nairn told the Belfast Telegraph: "People are so lovely in this country. I love coming home and then when you hear something like that, and it's being decided for us by people who I feel are completely outdated in their views and are perhaps not making decisions for the right reasons, it's saddening."
He was so saddened by it, he's reportedly considered running for office.
"Of course I have had thoughts about going into politics. I certainly don't mean now, definitely not, but in the future who knows?" he told the Telegraph. "I definitely would be prepared to make the change myself if it's going to help my community and help other people."

Hodor Nairn is ready to fight for all people. "It's just making sure that everyone's treated equally. Is that so progressive? I don't think it's progressive, I think it's human. And not just gay people - women's rights, immigrants, people of different ethnic backgrounds."
Hodor's got my vote!
