Ahead of this fall's same-sex marriage citizen vote, Austrailian celebrities are urging their fans to support the LGBT community and vote in favor of marriage equality.
Thor actor Chris Hemsworth shared a message to Instagram earlier today:
The caption reads:
"Dear open minded, free speaking, laid back, life loving aussies. Marriage is about love and commitment and, in a country based on equal citizenship, it should be available to everyone! Vote now for marriage equality."
Pop star and outspoken LGBT ally Betty Who also urged her fans to get out and vote:

And out singer Troye Sivan reached out to his 6.06 million followers on Twitter:
Following the anti-gay protests popping up all over Australia, celebrities urging the not-so-inclined young population to vote during the upcoming plebiscite could tip the scales in marriage equality's favor. Australian citizens can register to vote here.
