Dating websites are really popular in the queer community because it effectively eliminates the possibility that you might accidently hit on a straight person, which is truly not the end of the world because to hit on somebody is to be paying them a compliment. But some of us don't want to even face that. The tricky thing with dating websites is how do you initiate a conversation?
